Career Summary


Loughborough sprinter Harry Aikines-Aryeety ran in this year’s World Championships as part of the bronze winning 4x100m team.  He also took away the gold medal in the 2009 European Under-23 Championships in Lithuania.


Harry, who competes for Loughborough University, where he is studying for a degree in PE and Sociology, competed in his first Olympic Games in Beijing.


In 2005 Harry became double World Youth Champion and was awarded the ‘Rising Star of the Year’ accolade by the IAAF and the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
