IT programme assurance
This service offers consultancy to our clients on how to embark on an infrastructure strategy. We help to build the business case for change as well as the transformation roadmap. It also addresses how the transformation should be governed and, if required, experienced programme management can be provided.
Performance improvement
The performance improvement service gives our clients guidance on how to improve service quality and performance by using ITIL and BS15000 processes. Our consultants can also assist with the process implementation within a service delivery environment.
Sourcing strategy and transition
The service gives our clients clear direction on various sourcing techniques, including insourcing, outsourcing, global sourcing and strategic partnerships. We offer each client independent advice on how to address its particular circumstances. We can also provide help through the procurement process, for example, producing RFI and RFP documentation to get the best results for our clients.
Workplace consulting
Provision of workplace architecture, review and technical assurance services. These services can be offered either as part of a workplace transformation project or as a stand-alone engagement. We can deliver bespoke solutions or ones based on the Atos™ Workplace Solutions package.
Workplace architecture is Atos Origin’s terminology for the design of IT desktop infrastructure tailored to a company’s business needs. It includes a full review of servers and services – including directories, email, collaboration capability, desktop deployment, software deployment, monitoring and instant messaging, PCs, laptops, PDAs and printers.
Where appropriate Atos Origin will base Microsoft solutions on the Microsoft Windows Server System Reference Architecture, the Microsoft Branch Office Scenario white paper, the Accelerator for Business Desktop Deployment methodology and technologies, plus recognised best practices.
Network consulting
Provision of expertise in IP communications and networks. Typical deliverables include technical architecture and design, performance and reliability assessment, business requirement gap analysis, strategy and proof of concept.
